About Sedore Stoves
You are seeing the left and right side of a Sedore Muti Fuel Stove. The
colours are showing where the heat (energy) is being created and radiated
within the stoves structure. Notice where the white is..... right behind
the air intake tubes and it runs parallel to the floor 6 inches above. This
is where the richest oxygen is placed, a concentrated narrow band creating a
concentrated burn zone on three sides, Left, Front and Right Side. Note that
it does not continue to the rear of the stove. The next colour to note is red. This to me represents the absorptions and radiant ability of the corrugated walls. It takes the high temperatures of the concentrated burn and moves it in all direction. The majority of the red is in the lower half of the chamber, right where we need it. The red that is above the halfway point is the rolling of the gases in the front chamber. The heat rises, drying the fuel and preheating it, then the draft pulls it down into to concentrated burn zone. This may happen several times before it is allowed to exit the chamber moving to the chimney.
Yellow and Green is more of the same, absorption and radiant of remaining heat.
What colour is the chimney? There is the lack of heat in the chimney. It appears to be the second coldest part next to the air intake tubes at the front and maybe the legs. Very little heat is escaping or lost up the chimney.
